- Use approximately 8 ounces each of carrots and apples. Wash and brush (don’t peel), grind to a pulp and press (in cheese cloth) to get more juice. Drink immediately.
This delicious juice is full of vitamins, antioxidants and beta-carotenes that help the body fight against cancer and other diseases.
It can be made for breakfast, lunch a snack or anytime you need a little pick-me-up. The amount of juice produced will depend on your juicer and the amount of waste created. Add enough apples and carrots to yield at least 8 oz. of juice.
If you don’t have a juicer you can use a good blender or Nutribullet. Once you grind the ingredients, use a cheese cloth or nut milk bag to strain the pulp into a glass or bowl.
- add juice of ¼ to ½ an organic lemon at the end
- add ½ inch of fresh ginger while blending or juicing
- ¼ – ½ cup pure water (not tap) to thin if making a smoothie
